Éva Lilla Fröschl was born in Budapest on May 28, 1999 and began playing the horn at the age of 7 as a student of Tibor Maruzsa. In 2010 and 2013 she won first prize at the National Music School Horn Competition.

In 2011 and 2013 she received the first prize at the international competition in Brno (Czech Republic). In 2011, in recognition of her achievements, she was invited to play as a soloist with the Budapest Festival Orchestra under the direction of Iván Fischer, and a year later with the Zugló Philharmonic Orchestra. In 2015 she won the first prize at the XII. National Gymnasium Horn Competition and in the same year she won the first prize at the International Brass Competition in Varazdin (Croatia).

In 2017 and 2019 she won the first prize at the “International Brass and Percussion Meeting and Competition” in Debrecen and was accepted at the University of the Arts in Berlin in the class of Prof. Christian Friedrich Dallmann.

In 2021, she won the 3rd prize at the “27th Leoš Janáček International Brass Competition”. In 2019 she received a temporary contract as a horn player at the Deutsche Oper Berlin, and in 2021 she was accepted as an academician at the Komische Oper, where she was 1st and 3rd horn.

In 2022 she was awarded the Junior Prima Prize in Budapest by a professional commission for her achievements.

Since December 2021 she has been a high horn player in the Bavarian State Orchestra.
